VoiceIt is a teleprompter for creators who want to read naturally. Voice Follow matches your speech to the loaded script instead of relying on a fixed scrolling speed. Desktop prompting and Android recording have different workflows.

Windows, macOS and Android editions are being prepared for release. Public download links are not available on this website yet. iOS is not part of the initial launch.

Voice Follow needs a working microphone and permission to use it. On desktop, Auto Scroll is a separate fixed-speed option that does not need speech input; a camera is only needed in your recording app if you record video. Android’s integrated Video Recorder requires both camera and microphone access.

VoiceIt processes microphone audio on your device and matches recognized speech to your script. English (US) is bundled; additional language models need a download before offline use. Downloading software or models still requires internet access.

Voice Follow advances as it matches your speech to the script. When you stop speaking, it has no new words to follow. If you lose your place after an aside, return to the script or click or tap a word to reposition. Tracking depends on clear audio, the selected language and how closely you follow the text.

Core prompting and Voice Follow use local scripts and local speech processing. They do not require cloud transcription. Software downloads, language model downloads and purchase and activation services are separate from this offline workflow.

Choose Edit Script, type or paste your text, then choose Apply to Prompter. On desktop, use Save in the editor to save a named text file. On Android, use Scripts to save and reload named scripts. Keep a separate copy of important writing.

Named desktop scripts are saved as .txt files in the VoiceIt Prompter Scripts folder inside your Documents folder. Applying text to the prompter and saving a named script are separate actions.

Yes. Settings include text size, line width, reading area and dimming controls. Desktop has Mirror Script; Android has a mirror-script setting. Mirroring changes the prompt text; camera recording orientation is a separate setting.

On desktop, toggle Voice Follow off and on to stop and resume tracking; Restart returns to the beginning. Android’s camera view has pause/resume tracking and start-over controls. Pausing Android tracking does not pause video or stop microphone capture.

The Android edition has a built-in Video Recorder that saves video with audio. Windows and macOS editions provide prompting: use a separate recording app and save your video there. Voice Follow supports both workflows.

No. Available resolution and frame-rate choices depend on the selected camera and device. The recorder offers supported quality choices and can fall back to a lower resolution. Check the actual resolution badge and make a short test recording.

Open your recording app separately, configure its camera and audio, and position VoiceIt near the lens. VoiceIt offers a floating overlay and a normal window. Run a short test to check microphone access and what appears in your recording before a full take.

Check that VoiceIt has microphone access in System Settings under Privacy & Security, then Microphone. Confirm your system input is working, return to VoiceIt and try Voice Follow again. Your recording app needs its own permissions.

After you tap Stop, wait for the video-saved message while audio and video finish combining. Look in your Gallery or Movies collection; on Android 10 and later, the recorder uses Movies/VoiceIt. Play the clip back to check both picture and sound.

Android can show a movable prompt over another app after you grant display-over-other-apps permission. Voice Follow also needs microphone access. Audio sharing with another camera app can vary by device; use the built-in Video Recorder for the integrated prompting-and-recording workflow.

There is no public iOS download on this website. Release timing, supported devices and iOS instructions are not confirmed here. Check Downloads for published availability and platform instructions.

Activation requires an internet connection. The app revalidates the license every 14 days. A genuine service or network outage allows up to 3 additional days of grace. An explicitly disabled or refunded license does not receive outage grace. Local Voice Follow also requires the selected language model to be installed.

Deactivate This Device on an old installation before moving to another device. A reinstall may create a new installation identity and require activation again. If the old installation is unavailable, contact support for help with a device reset; resets are reviewed rather than unlimited automatic transfers.

Use the Payhip-issued key from your purchase email, check for extra spaces and confirm that you are online. If it still fails, send support the error and your order reference, not the full key. A refunded or revoked license cannot activate.

Request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@voiceitprompter.com with your order reference. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved. A refunded license loses its entitlement.

Check microphone permission and input level, select the language that matches your script, and make sure its model is installed. Reduce background noise, try a short clear passage, then click or tap the intended word or restart the prompt. Resume tracking if it is paused.

Check microphone permission and whether the app reported an audio-combining error. Make a short test with other audio apps closed, wait for the save confirmation and play it back. If it still fails, contact support with your device, Android version and the exact message.
